Memories from a guided tour through the Prague´s Old Town

We enjoyed a fascinating guided walk through Prague’s Old Town, discovering its hidden gems and untold stories.
Together with our guide, Martin Bělohradský, we explored the enchanting secrets of Prague’s narrowest alleys and historic squares.
Our journey led us from the Jan Palach Memorial to the sculpture of King Charles IV at Křižovnické náměstí, and onward to Johannes Kepler’s historic courtyard and Václav Havel’s Theatre Na Zábradlí. We visited places connected to W. A. Mozart, walked through Zlatá ulička toward Husova Street, and recalled the legendary U Zlatého tygra pub, where even Bill Clinton once enjoyed a beer.
Continuing past St. Giles’ Church (Kostel sv. Jiljí), we wandered through Jilská, Michalská, Železná, and Celetná Streets to reach the Basillica of St. James, where we spoke about its rich history and the Dominican Order, admiring its beautiful exterior.
We then passed through Ungelt, the former trading courtyard where merchants once paid customs duties, continued along the Church of Our Lady before Týn, and finished our walk at Old Town Square, in front of the Týn School.
A perfect day filled with history, discovery, and wonderful company.
